To acknowledge the power of divine Love over all human discord, is to obey a Scripture mandate. Our obedience is imperative for unfoldment, enrichment, and blessing to ourselves and others. A true Christian Scientist is grateful for the understanding that enables him to heal the sick and sorrowing, lift burdens, and scatter sunshine all the way.

A desire to be relieved from the intense mental and physical suffering of an obstinate case of nervous prostration, led me to Christian Science.

Mine was a slow case of healing, but I obtained relief at once, and was very grateful, especially in view of the fact that an eminent physician of our metropolis had told me in reply to my anxious questioning, "If you are comfortable in four years, you need be thankful;" but he could not assure me a cure, He did his best for me, and I hold him and the other physicians who attended me in kindly remembrance.
