Christian Science does not teach that there is no sin, pain,...

Marshall (Mich.) News

Christian Science does not teach that there is no sin, pain, or sickness. It declares that they are not real in the sense that God did not create them, and it is the duty of all to see their unreality as being unlike God, hence they must be false. It is granted that to the material sense when a man is sick, he is sick; when he is suffering he is in pain; when he is doing what he should not do, he is sinning either consciously or otherwise. It is knowing these things and that they do not belong to the true man that enables the Christian Scientists to do their work.
