Christian Scientists do not disregard medicine through any blind faith in God or through a fanatical effort to be true to their religion; but they do it because they have an intelligent understanding of power of Truth to heal sickness as well as sin. They have an abundance of proof of the reliability and accuracy of Christian Science, both in their own cases of healing and in the healing of intelligent people all over the land, whose word in other matters is as good as their bond. These people testify to the fact that this understanding of Truth has healed them when the best medical aid had utterly failed.
