The true reason why "Christian Science makes converts"...
Camden (N. J.) Echo
The true reason why "Christian Science makes converts" so easily "among people of all classes," and "why so many intelligent people accept it" is that "humanity's need of a Saviour" understands and welcomes the healing and redeeming Christ, the Christ of a daily living—not of a mystic, mediæval, theoretical theology,—but Immanuel, God with us. "Lo! I am with you alway." The acceptance of Christian Science illustrates anew the words of Jesus the Christ. "And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me."
Theodore D. Warren.
Camden (N. J.) Echo.
It is generally conceded that Christian Scientists have made considerable progress in the elimination of worry from their daily lives, and this is but one of its good works. Through lessening worry many of the greater problems of humanity have been simplified and the Christian Scientist therefore finds himself better able to cope with the difficulties which beset his path than before understanding this truth.
