Among the Churches
The Christian Scientists of Richmond, known as First Church of Christ, Scientist, have removed their service to No. 709 East Main Street, which has been leased for two years. A part of the building has been fitted up appropriately for religious services and the other part furnished and equipped for a reading room.
The church has about thirty members, and an average attendance of about sixty. The society was organized about two years ago, and has grown steadily.
