RADIO PROGRAM No. 436 - Some Helpful Ideas About Schoolwork

SPEAKER: Every young person runs into situations in which he really wants to do his best. For example, in school or college he's often taxed to the limit in competitive sports or other kinds of contests, not to mention quizzes and final exams.

Our guest today has some interesting ideas on how a person can meet such challenges. He's David Linnig and he attends Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. He's a fraternity man; he's interested in music and photography; and he's been a Christian Scientist all his life.

Dave, I know you've had a number of experiences in which an understanding of God has helped you. I believe the one you're going to share with us happened when you were a senior at York Community High School in Elmhurst, Illinois. Please tell us about it now.
