As a child I had the privilege of attending a Christian Science Sunday School, and the understanding of God gained during those early years has helped me often. I have experienced many healings, sometimes with the help of a practitioner and at other times through my own efforts to rise above erroneous thinking.

I have been healed of goiter, shingles, colds, bronchitis, burns, and chilblains. I have also been greatly helped in accidents and comforted in times of sorrow.

A few years ago I awakened one night feeling extremely ill. I tried to hold to the truth that I am in reality a child of God, spiritual and perfect, but the condition grew worse. I called my mother and sister to ask for help. My sister telephoned a practitioner, who immediately gave me a treatment through prayer. Within minutes my need was met. I was well, and shortly afterwards fell asleep.
