I have always received much...
I have always received much good from the testimonies published in the periodicals, and I should like to share with others some of my experiences.
My mother, when a young woman, was healed of consumption in its last stages through Christian Science and was an active Scientist for many years. As the result of this healing I had the advantage of being reared in a Christian Science home.
A number of years ago I was very ill with what the medical profession would probably name jaundice. After much suffering I realized that I had been entertaining thoughts of envy, hate, and jealousy. As these thoughts were replaced with thoughts of love and compassion, there was physical improvement, and very soon I was up and doing my work in the home, expressing gratitude for the faithful practitioner who had been helping me and for Mrs. Eddy, who gave us the truth that meets our needs when it is rightly applied.
