In 1907 my sister told me about Science. At this time I had gone to visit her and was practically an invalid. A Christian Science practitioner lived in the same apartment house as my sister. I went to see her and was healed of rheumatism and stomach trouble in one treatment.
One morning about six years ago, when I was hurrying to catch a local bus that connected with a beach line streetcar, I was knocked down by an automobile. I arose quickly before the driver could reach me. When he did, he offered to take me to an emergency station. I assured him that this would not be necessary, and so he very kindly drove me to the connecting streetcar.
However, by the time I reached my sister's home at the beach, my left wrist and knee felt very uncomfortable. After lunch, without having related the accident to my sister, I went in quest of a practitioner. She began prayerful work for me, and in a few days I was fully recovered.
