"One moment of divine consciousness,...
"One moment of divine consciousness, or the spiritual understanding of Life and Love, is a foretaste of eternity" (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, p. 598). These words stand out in a healing I wish to relate.
In 1951 an internal growth developed but appeared so slowly that it was many months before I realized the seriousness of it. I had been a student of Christian Science for many years and had had many demonstrations of the healing power of Truth. I had been active in the work of a branch Church of Christ, Scientist.
I continued with my daily occupation in business and attended church and served in various capacities regardless of the problem which had been creeping upon me. However, even though I studied and worked in Christian Science and also had the help of a practitioner, progress was very slow.
