For many years I had been seeking the reason that the Bible promises and the healings done by Jesus were not being fulfilled and repeated today. One day while reading from the Bible, I found a desire for those things which are not seen, spoken of by Paul. This verse reads (II Cor. 4:18), "While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal."

The next day a friend invited me to accompany her to a Wednesday testimony meeting in a branch Church of Christ, Scientist. When I heard one person after another get up and tell of physical healings and of the overcoming of other discordant conditions through the study and application of Christian Science, I realized at once that this was what I had been seeking for so many years.

The realization that man is made in the image and likeness of God brought an instantaneous healing of periodic pains. Attacks of influenza, headaches, and many other discordant conditions, as well as many false traits of character, have been overcome through my study of Christian Science.
