Having been a student of the teachings of Christian Science for over fifty years, and having enjoyed membership in various branch Churches of Christ, Scientist, throughout those years, I think that a testimony expressing gratitude for this great privilege is now due.

As a young girl, I attended an orthodox Sunday School and joined a church of that denomination. In our home a family physician was always called when we were ill. My mother had passed on with pneumonia, and there was great fear of this disease in the family. Twice one of our young daughters had been very ill with it, and our kindly physician told us that she could not survive a third experience.

When the child again manifested signs of pneumonia, friends asked if we would be willing to have Christian Science treatment. A practitioner was called, and the healing of this greatly feared disease took place overnight. Since that time the healing truths of Christian Science have been used to meet our every need. Regardless of the name given any ill, we are assured in Christian Science that God can heal it.
