In an address before the Colorado Schoolmasters ... the Very Reverend Paul Roberts, Rector of St. John's Cathedral, Denver, warned, "Education is in danger of losing its whole purpose and meaning, due to the neglect of the teaching of the basic moral and spiritual values of life.

"Jesus and the followers of his way of life are the realists in the world," he said, "and the only hope for building satisfactory economic and social relationships, world peace and brotherhood, lies in an educative process that recognizes religion as paramount in the life of an individual."
