It is with deep and sincere gratitude for the many blessings that have come to me as a result of the study and application of Christian Science that I wish to relate the following experiences.

About fifteen years ago, when I read for the first time the chapter on Prayer in the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I was instantaneously healed of the need for glasses. I had worn them for several years for reading, sewing, and my daily office work, which involved many reports, consisting of columns of figures. Without my glasses this work caused severe headaches. However, when the glasses were laid aside the headaches ceased, and the healing has been permanent.

Subsequently, I was healed of an attack of ptomaine poisoning, of recurring attacks of the grippe, and of a nervous condition that caused me much distress.
