I am very grateful for the freedom from fear which comes through Christian Science, and for the mental development which results from a systematic and sincere study of its literature.

Ever since I can remember, cold weather seemed to be connected in my experience with continual colds, attacks of influenza, bronchitis, and pneumonia. When I was seven years old, I had an instantaneous healing of a fever caused by pneumonia. My mother only said to me, "If God made everything and everything that He made is good, where does evil come in?" I sprang out of bed, entirely well, and cried, "Why, mamma, there isn't any evil then." Since then I have had similar trouble, but in the past few years the continual colds have been completely overcome, and attacks of other errors mentioned have become very light.

An unhappy, ungrateful disposition is changing rapidly for the better. My eyes have been strengthened several times for the day's work ahead of me, when they seemed to be tried and strained from study.
