It is not only my duty, but a great privilege, to give this testimony of the experiences I have had in Christian Science.

It is more than twenty-three years since I sought Christian Science as a healing agency. For seventeen years I had been in bondage to acute attacks of neuritis every winter. Physicians told me that they could give me only temporary relief; that every time I took cold I should again suffer, and I always did. I became very much discouraged.

I had heard of Christian Science, so I decided to give it a trial. I had always been an ardent student of the Bible, and I thought if the teachings of the Bible had anything to do with Christian Science, there must be something good in it.
