With deep gratitude to Christian Science I testify to the healings I have had and to overcoming of difficulties with the help of this Science.

With the aid of a devoted practitioner I was healed of a hernia which called for an immediate surgical operation. I was healed of neuralgia, which used to keep me in bed several days a week. I have also been able to overcome serious financial difficulties in my business. Sometimes when I would get discouraged in the face of all these errors that overwhelmed us, my husband would say to me, "Man's extremity is God's opportunity." Today I no longer worry about tomorrow, for I know that, as Mrs. Eddy says in Science and Health (p. 494), "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need." We have also, with the power of God, been able to overcome for ourselves and our children a number of illnesses, such as measles, ear trouble, colds, pneumonia, pleurisy. In 1936 our elder daughter had dysentery. We would never admit the seriousness of the error, in spite of the alarming appearances, for we knew that God never afflicts His children. All these ailments were overcome without the aid of doctors, because we placed ourselves entirely in the hands of God.

I am exceedingly grateful to the practitioner who lovingly helped me to correct many faults. She taught me how, above all, to do the will of our Father-Mother God.
