I am very grateful for the Christian Science Hymnal. Often, when so burdened that it seemed impossible to rejoice, I have turned to the Hymnal and sung or just read the hymns, and have been lifted above pain and discouragement. Some time ago, rheumatism in one entire side yielded slowly, and after all pain had disappeared, the muscles in that side remained stiff, leaving one limb drawn and shorter than the other. There was a lack of balance and fear of falling. One day, when very much discouraged, I opened the Hymnal to the hymn beginning, "I walk with Love along the way," and read it through. I determined to make the effort to "walk with Love." Each day I went out and walked, only a short distance at first, keeping the words of this hymn in my thought. The line in the third stanza, "Uplift your thought, with courage go," was a great help to me in lifting my thought above the fear of falling. Each day I could walk a little farther, until one day I could walk normally and with both limbs relaxed and even. This healing took place over three years ago, and there has been no return of the trouble.

I am very grateful for this healing and for many other rich blessings in Christian Science.—(Mrs.) Mercer Roche Watson, Westwood Hills, Los Angeles, California.
