As a member of The Mother Church and a branch church I wish to express my gratitude to the Giver of all good for revealing the spiritual interpretation of the Scriptures to a saintly student of the Bible, Mrs. Eddy. In the Preface to "Miscellaneous Writings" (p. xi) she says, "May this volume be to the reader a graphic guidebook, pointing the path, dating the unseen, and enabling him to walk the untrodden in the hitherto unexplored fields of Science."

I have been healed of numerous ills through my own study and the aid of spiritually-minded students and practitioners. Among these were lack, worry, the liquor habit, the smoking habit, and a paralyzed stomach condition. The healing of the last difficulty was instantaneous, and came through the help of a student. Through the help of a practitioner rosebugs were eliminated from the farm, God's control of the universe of Mind becoming apparent.

May this testimony be the means of bringing others to God and to the consecrated revelation of the Science of being brought to us by Mrs. Eddy, our Leader.
