The one desire of the true Christian Scientist is to realize...

The one desire of the true Christian Scientist is to realize the truths of Christian Science and to reflect them every moment, thereby helping himself and others to know and do the will of God, and to show forth His glory in regenerated thinking, the evidence of which is improved experience.

I am humbly grateful that in ways directly traceable to the ministrations of Christian Science I am learning that criticism, self-will, and other unlovely traits of character are no part of God's idea, and that in some measure I am expressing more of the character that reflects God's love—gentleness, consideration, co-operation, tolerance, and appreciation.

Some of the so-called physical results of false thinking from which I have been freed are asthma, bilious attacks, and neuritis; and twice I have had heavy falls with remarkable protection from harmful consequences.

I am deeply grateful to God and to all the faithful workers who are helping me and others along the way that Jesus trod for all mankind, and that Mrs. Eddy has made plain for this and future generations. I am also grateful for the joyous privilege of serving in a branch church.
