Leominster, Massachusetts (Society)—Christian Science Society of Leominster fulfilled its long-cherished desire when it dedicated its church building here Sunday, July 18, 1937, with services in the morning, in the afternoon, and in the evening. The services were public.

Recently, with the aid of the church building fund, a liberal bequest in the form of a grant from the Trustees under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy, and a generous gift of service, material, and money, the purchase and reconstruction of the property at 106 Merriam Avenue were made possible, and it is now debt free.

Seventeen persons interested in Christian Science met at a home on Walnut Street, October 9, 1913. After careful deliberation, they decided to organize a Christian Science Society. A committee of three was appointed for the purpose of finding a place in which to worship. A suitable hall was secured in the Nickerson Block, where, starting November 9, 1913, services were held for twenty-four years.
