To the Glory of God

[Written Especially for Children]

A little girl at one time believed that she did not understand arithmetic. So she not only feared that lesson, but heartily disliked it.

One day after an especially unpleasant experience she visited an elder friend, and this error was uncovered. Then these helpful words of Mrs. Eddy's were found in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 262): "To begin rightly is to end rightly."

She was an earnest little Christian Scientist, and tried always to be obedient to what God required of her. So, when she was shown that she must think correctly about this lesson, she did so. And the result was so happy that the sharing of it may help other boys and girls.
