I feel that Christian Science has given me such help and comfort that I want to share my experience with those who are searching for Truth.

I was a regular attendant and member of an orthodox church for many years, earnestly trying to be a Christian, but did not get the understanding of God which I desired. Then the time came in my life when I was very ill. I was under the care of local physicians, and also consulted specialists, two of whom told me that medicine could do nothing for me, and advised me to go home and be as comfortable as possible. The difficulty considered most serious was sugar diabetes.

One day I met a friend, and I looked so ill that she asked me what was the matter. I said that a doctor had told me he did not think there was a sound organ in my body. She asked me to try Christian Science, and invited me to go to church with her, which I did. Then she advised me to see a practitioner. I did this, but did not want my husband to know it. I began to study, and found myself improving slowly. One day my husband asked me what I had been doing, for I seemed much better. Up to this time I had been hiding my books, studying only when alone. I hesitated to tell him, thinking he would not like it; but with tears in my eyes I told him that I was having Christian Science treatment and studying. He told me to take my books and study, and he would help me all he could, for he could see a great improvement.
