It is with great joy and gratitude that I give this testimony. In may, 1926, a sister was given up by physicians in a local hospital, and we were told that they had no more hope for her; that if we knew of anything which we thought would help her we should try it.

All of the family were praying for light, and it came through a friend's recommending Christian Science. A practitioner was called and help was lovingly given. In three weeks this sister was home, healed, and is now active and a member of a Christian Science church. Through this healing several members of the family became students of Christian Science. To me it was a revelation; it was a new heaven on earth; it was that for which I and been looking for years. For a long time I had not been interested in religion, for my former religion had failed to satisfy me when I needed it most.

Since that time I have had many healings, such as of asthma, which was healed through my reading Science and Health and trying to reflect more love. Kidney stones were eliminated through Christian Science, with the help of a practitioner. Although the struggle seemed great at the time, this healing gave me more courage and faith; it gave me the understanding which enabled me to be healed of gallstones two years later.
