May I have space for a reply to a letter appearing under the caption "On Christian Science" in a recent edition of the Gleaner?

We agree unreservedly with the statement that Truth needs no defense. Our purpose in replying to letters antagonistic to Christian Science is to explain the various points, so that those seeking the truth may not be confused by what our critics would lead them to believe to be the teaching of Christian Science.

For instance, nothing could be farther from the truth than to insinuate that Christian Science denies Christ Jesus his rightful place. Christian Science emphatically acknowledges Christ Jesus as the Saviour, the Messiah, "the way, the truth, and the life." It is the Science which Christ Jesus taught and demonstrated.
