In the Scriptures we read, "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions;" also, "Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!"

Previous to taking up the study of Christian Science I had been ill for ten years. In fact, I hardly knew what it was to be without pain. I had been to many physicians, but instead of getting better I grew worse. A dear friend asked me to try Christian Science, and through the loving work of a practitioner I was healed of neuritis, severe throat trouble, headaches, and constipation.

For these physical healings I am very grateful; and for the many beautiful lessons I learned in obedience, honesty, and patience. When I was willing to study Christian Science earnestly, my whole trend of thought was changed; false beliefs gradually disappeared, and were replaced with joy, peace, and health. This was over sixteen years ago, and these healings have been permanent. Since that time God has been our only physician, and we have had many proofs of the healing power of the teachings of Christian Science.
