In the year 1885 my sister was healed by Christian Science of what the doctors called the last stages of Bright's disease, after they had said they could not cure her nor give her relief.
About five years ago I first heard Christian Science mentioned, but believing it to be a pastime for the higher classes and for those who had nothing to do, I had no wish to learn more about it, though at that time I was very unhappy and in poor health.
We often hear people testify that at one time they were delicate and under normal weight and that after they took up the study of Christian Science, they gained in strength and weight.
