The station announcer said: Good afternoon, Ladies and Gentlemen: It is Columbia's pleasure to present another program in the fifth consecutive year of the "Church of the Air" series. The service today is coming to you from Station WBBM in Chicago and is approved by The Christian Science Board of Directors of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts. This broadcast is presented by the Christian Science Committee on Publication for Illinois. The program will be conducted by Hamilton Coleman, a Christian Science practitioner of Chicago. The subject of Mr. Coleman's address is "Christ's Christianity Here and Now." Music is furnished by Frederick T. Blum, baritone, and Dr. Gustav Romfort, organist. We now give the service into the hands of Mr. Coleman. Hymn 414 from the Christian Science Hymnal was sung.

Mr. Coleman then read an address substantially as follows:

May I begin with a benediction expressed in a much-loved Christian hymn, "Peace be to this congregation; peace to every heart therein."
