If your correspondent had gathered his facts from...
Stroud Journal
If your correspondent had gathered his facts from the multitudes who have been healed of hopeless invalidism, of some incurable disease or sin, he would have found ample proof that Christian Science is a religion founded on the inspired Word of the Scriptures. The members of Christian Science churches are drawn from all classes who are daily proving the truth of Christian Science in their lives. If ignorant criticism of Christian Science and unjust condemnation of its Discoverer and Founder, Mary Baker Eddy, had fulfilled their intent, the Christian Science movement would long ago have ceased to exist. I would ask "Thinker" to judge Christian Science by its fruits and to accept the advice of Gamaliel, who, in his defense of the apostles, said, "Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought: but if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God."
