Over ten years ago I began the study of Christian Science. At that time I was mentally so depressed and discouraged that I could not see much reason for living. Then Christian Science was presented to me by a loving neighbor. The reading of the textbook and some of the literature gave me such a great sense of peace that I decided to study this subject for myself. Since then I have had many physical healings and blessings through this study. I have been healed of mumps, a bad case of sunburn, stomach bilious attacks, and extreme nervousness; also many faults of Character have been corrected.

I am grateful to God for the healing message of Christian Science and to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who labored untiringly to give us these truths. As she says on page 455 of Science and Health: "The All-wise does not bestow His highest trusts upon the unworthy. When He commissions a messenger, it is one who is spiritually near Himself."
