The Lectures
Introductions to Lectures
Boston, Massachusetts (The Mother Church).
Lecturer: Gavin W. Allan; introduced by Miss Florence Siever Middaugh, who said:—
A lecture on Christian Science is a joyous occasion, for many carry away with them an awakened desire to know more about God, and they receive a mental stimulus which causes them to reach after more of the good that is ready and waiting for them. Jesus, the great teacher of spiritual truths, taught his followers to think scientifically; and Christian Science likewise teaches that to find God one must understand and know Him.
