During the last twenty years I have been able to realize many times the fact that God is Love. Where could I find words to give thanks for all the good that has come into my life through Christian Science? Many wonderful healings have taken place, some of which have been through the help of Christian Science practitioners; and often we have been successful through holding firmly ourselves to the omnipotence and omnipresence of divine Love.

In 1919 our boy, then five years old, became ill. The doctor declared it to be a severe case of inflammation of the lungs. I telephoned to Zurich and asked for Christian Science help. Also I endeavored to become calm and to trust God. The next morning the doctor came very early, and when he saw the boy sitting up in bed he said that the fever might return. Despite the fact that the child had to learn again to stand and walk, the healing progressed quickly, and at the end of a week it was complete.
