A Beautiful hymn adapted from a poem by James Montgomery, whose poems are loved by many of the Christian faith, contains this stanza:

"Through paths of loving-kindness led,
Where Jesus triumphed we would tread;
To all with willing hands dispense
The gifts of our benevolence."
