With joy in my heart and a deep sense of gratitude to God, I wish to offer my testimony to help swell that glad refrain, "Glory to God in the highest," hoping that this expression of praise may help to awaken some struggling heart to its need of Christian Science and its healing, protecting care.

Christian Science came into my parents' home while I was a young girl, and I experienced its healing power through the consecrated efforts and understanding of my mother. It was not until I was married and in a home of my own that I discovered how greatly I needed to take up the study of Science and put it into practice for myself.

I experienced healing and protection at the time of childbirth. Constipation was overcome during pregnancy after eighteen days of inaction, during which time there was no discomfort of any kind. A loving friend, a practitioner, worked for me during this time, annulling the fear which tried to gain a foothold. When the healing took place the action was normal and natural. This was five years ago.
