I can indeed say that I have found "divine Truth more potent than all lower remedies," as Mrs. Eddy says in the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (pp. 180, 181), for it has helped me spiritually, physically, and financially, and has given me an entirely new outlook on life. Since November, 1925, Christian Science has met my every need.

Before knowing about this truth I was a lifelong sufferer from constipation, but I was healed after reading the textbook for a few hours. I had taken material remedies almost nightly for years, and felt as if I could not live without medicine. Indigestion, a trouble from birth, was supposed to be hereditary. I seldom knew a day free from this trouble, and took medicine continually, besides abstaining from drinking with my meals. Now I eat whatever is set before me without fear, and any suggestion of the old trouble is quietly overcome with what little I understand of Truth.

Before becoming interested in Christian Science I often had attacks of influenza which would leave me weak long after I was out of bed. I am very grateful to say that after I had been reading Christian Science literature for about six months, when an attack came on, with the aid of absent treatment from a loving practitioner I was out of bed and downstairs in two days.
