Christian Science teaches the same demonstrable understanding of God that Christ Jesus taught; it emphasizes, therefore, that true Christianity requires complete and unqualified dependence on God. In the textbook of Christian Science, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, is found the following statement (p. 228): "There is no power apart from God. Omnipotence has all-power, and to acknowledge any other power is to dishonor God."

Christian Science reveals the Word of God as a vivifying force among men. Its Christianity is meeting a great need of humanity, for it teaches and demonstrates the divine law of Love.
