The Psalmist sang, "Let every thing that hath breath...
The Psalmist sang, "Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord." I feel it is my duty and privilege to express praise and gratitude for the help my family and I have received through Christian Science.
Ten or eleven years ago our boy, then about five years of age, was suffering severely from an attack of toothache, the face and mouth being very much swollen. My husband and I had heard of Christian Science, but were ignorant of its method of application. We therefore asked a friend who was a student of Christian Science to help the boy. This help was lovingly given, and in an hour the whole difficulty was overcome, the swelling having rapidly disappeared. I shall always feel grateful for this healing, as it was the reason for my seriously taking up the study of Christian Science.
Since that time we have had many healings for which I am most grateful. With the loving help of a practitioner a growth which manifested itself on my body was destroyed in ten days. With the help of the same practitioner I was freed from rheumatic fever in less than one week, except for a slight sense of weakness, which quickly disappeared. The words of the first verse of one of our hymns, "God made all His creatures free," were most helpful to me on this occasion.
