Gratitude prompts me to send this testimony of healing which proved to me that God is the only real power. One morning I was taken suddenly ill with severe pain that grew worse and worse until I thought I could not survive another attack. I did not seem able to do my work in Christian Science. My husband called a practitioner, who lovingly began treatment for me. In a few minutes I fell asleep knowing God would take care of me. I awoke without pain, but very weak. The next morning a kidney stone passed from me. I was healed, and have been free from this trouble ever since. I experienced this healing over eleven years ago.

Our son was healed of diphtheria in two treatments. Other healings we have experienced are those of sprained ankle, chronic headaches, ear trouble, and effects of scarlet fever. The gratitude for freedom from pain does not compare with the joy of knowing God, knowing that there is a God who loves, protects, and provides for all. I am so grateful to Mrs. Eddy, our beloved Leader, who gave us this wonderful truth. I am striving daily to express good in every way.—(Mrs.) Estelle E. Woodward, Los Angeles, California.
