Flow on

GRACE A. PETERSEN

Flow on, my life; flow singing like a stream,
Braving the rapids and the waterfalls
To seek the beauty that forever calls
Beyond the bend. Pause in the quiet gleam
Of sunny-hearted pools with willowy shore
To meditate; but linger not too long
Where quiet breeds stagnation. Lift your song,
And with a thought more clear, flow on once more.
