Over thirteen years ago I began the study of Christian Science and at various times became discouraged and stopped reading, but each time I came back to it and grew stronger. In all these years I have always had absent treatment, as my husband and I were on the road. Whenever we seemed to need help we would send a telegram to a practitioner who has lovingly helped us over many rough places. When my little boy was two years old he was healed of double pneumonia in five days, and we were able to go to the next city without any difficulty. Grippe has been overcome; also weak lungs, constipation, sprained ankles, ringworm, the effects of poison ivy, high fevers, hoarseness, and many other ailments. When my baby was six weeks old he was healed of a cough which seemed to choke him. Each demonstration has helped us to progress spiritually.

I should not care to live without this blessed truth which has brought peace and happiness to us, and my heart is full of love to God, also to Mrs. Eddy who made this truth practical so that all can apply it. I am grateful for all the activities of the church, to the loving practitioner who has helped us on our journey from sense to Soul, and to the dear friends who first told us of Christian Science. I wish to add that the spiritual uplifting we have received is worth more to us than all the physical healings.
