I began studying "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy over ten years ago when I saw a complete and permanent healing of a diseased valve of the heart under the treatment of a practitioner of Christian Science. Since that time Christian Science has been my only medicine: headaches, poor circulation, chilblains, hemorrhoids, stomach trouble, despondency, and excitement have disappeared into their native nothingness, sometimes through the reading of the literature, sometimes with the help of a practitioner.

Every evening when I come home and see The Christian Science Monitor waiting for me I am thankful for all good. I am thankful that Christian Science has given us a true God who never fails, the one and only "I AM." I am indeed thankful for the slight understanding I have that blood, bone, brain, and so forth are without Soul, and that man in God's image and likeness is altogether spiritual; that matter has no real substance, but that Soul, God, is true substance.

I am grateful that Christian Science is raising up to-day a great class of exact thinkers, "children that will not lie." Slight as this understanding is at present, it is the greatest thing that could possibly come to me; and it has come through Christian Science and no other source.
