Though I began studying Christian Science for the spiritual...
Though I began studying Christian Science for the spiritual food it gave me, I soon experienced physical healings. Christian Science has been my only help for fourteen years, and my heart is filled with gratitude for all the blessings I have received. A few months after taking up the study of Christian Science I was awakened to a healing of my eyes. My work being of a very confining nature, I had been unable to get along without glasses. This healing took place over thirteen years ago, and has been permanent. I recently met some friends whom I had not seen since taking up the study of Christian Science, and they remarked that I looked better now than I used to. I have been healed of tonsillitis, back trouble, a nervous breakdown, and have overcome many faults, such as resentment and sensitiveness.
I am realizing more each day that "I can of mine own self do nothing;" that man is God's image and likeness, and that I have but to respond to God's law. I am most grateful for all that Christian Science has done for me.
