Through gratitude I am led to testify to the healing power of Christian Science. This healing was instantaneous, and was experienced by my little daughter. She was at that time four years of age, and my husband and I were relying implicitly on Christian Science for every need. My attention was attracted by a terrified cry from the front room. Immediately I declared the allness of God, and without fear went to her. She was lying on the floor in a heap with her arm doubled under her and unable to raise herself. I took her in my lap and saw that her wrist was much swollen. I repeated "the scientific statement of being" from "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy (p. 468); then I told her that the little arm had no more power or intelligence to tell her anything than the arm of the chair had. In less than three minutes she ceased to cry and gently moved her shoulder, then her fingers, seemingly to make sure that the pain was gone. Looking up at me in wonder she thrust out her arm, joyously exclaiming that it was well. I was indeed happy to see that the wrist had again become normal. This experience was very beautiful to me, and convinced me that lack of fear and "radical reliance on Truth" (ibid., p. 167) had brought about the healing.

My greatest desire is to learn more each day how to "be about my Father's business," thereby expressing my gratitude to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
