I have received so many benefits through the study of Christian Science that perhaps the recital of some of them may help others.

A severe attack of lumbago was instantly overcome by clinging to the truth. I did not at that time have a very good understanding of divine Principle, and wavered for two weeks between my desire to see a Christian Science practitioner and a wish to gratify friends by calling a doctor. One afternoon a friend offered me some liniment, which was refused as kindly as possible. After I had refused the material aid the pain became so much worse that I became almost unconscious, but somehow found myself comparing liniment with infinite Spirit; for I repeated to myself several times, "No; infinite Spirit is good enough for me." On reaching my room, I lay down and started to read in the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. I fell asleep, and awakened in half an hour entirely healed. This was several years ago, and there has been no return of the trouble.

An attack of ptomaine poisoning was instantly healed when the truth contained in the seventh chapter of Mark, fifteenth verse, was realized, during the reading of the Lesson-Sermon as given us in the Christian Science Quarterly.
