Seeking a Position

In seeking a position, the first thing for one to try to realize is that God's idea, man, is always in his right place, and that it is only false, material sense-evidence that suggests anything to the contrary.

When we stand on a station platform and look up the railroad track, our eyes tell us that the rails converge at a distant point—that they do not remain in their right place. If the evidence of the senses were true, no train could safely run; but we know that the rails remain parallel,—in their right place,—and because of this the train runs safely. The false sense that tells us that the rails converge and are therefore out of place is the same false, material sense which tells us that we may not be in our right place.

In the realm of divine Mind no idea of God is out of its right place. Likewise, in divine intelligence, there is no place that is not already filled. There are no vacuums in the universe created by God; therefore, the counterfeit belief of a lack or void should immediately recall to thought the true knowledge that all space is filled with divine Love. To believe that the real man can lack position is to believe that God's idea can be inactive; and this is an impossibility. Everyone as a child of God, an idea of divine Mind, is always active.
