It is with great joy that I testify to the many blessings...
It is with great joy that I testify to the many blessings I have received through the study and application of Christian Science. I find it a great help to me in bringing up our two boys. Fear, anxiety, responsibility of a human mother, are gradually vanishing. I am grateful that the children have the privilege of attending the Christian Science Sunday School. They have been healed of chicken pox, sore throat, measles, fever, sprained ankle, whooping cough, neuralgia, and colds. Some of these were met by applying our own small understanding of this truth, as taught us by Mrs. Eddy in her textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." When error did not seem to yield with our own mental work, we called for help from the loving practitioners who are always ready to give of their service. The whooping cough seemed to last longer than I expected, but not so long as under other treatment; and all of the erroneous conditions mentioned were met so quickly no one outside of our household knew of them. Through the study of Christian Science my mentality is being so changed that I am being healed daily both morally and physically with no direct treatment.
I am very grateful for all the periodicals, especially for the Christian Science Sentinel, as it was through this channel I first received a glimpse of the work of our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, and for The Christian Science Monitor, which comes to our home each day with good news for our little family. I am exceedingly thankful that my husband and I accepted Christian Science at the same time, for it has brought a great deal of harmony into our home. I am grateful for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church. Words fail to express my gratitude to Mrs. Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science.
