Having suffered for six or seven years from an abdominal trouble, inflammation of inner organs, very painful and causing me much sadness and also much worry and sleeplessness, I went while I was in this state to many free medical clinics, because I was not in a position to pay. I had to go through many painful experiences, because I desired to be well and was very much afraid. Such was my state when I went to a Christian Science service and received its divine teachings, the healing words of Truth. This service I shall never forget. I came out transformed, a new woman; and from that day until now my great desire has been to understand and manifest the good which I am grateful to Christian Science for having revealed. I give thanks to the Almighty for the good He has given us in these teachings; for I am being truly regenerated. I do not want to dwell on the state of misery I was in before the healing, but I know that necessity obliged me to seek the teachings of Christian Science. To-day I consider myself free from the condition which caused me so much anguish.

I who give this testimony wish to state once more that I have received all this great comfort, and by it bear witness to the truth of the healing power of Christian Science, as it was experienced by me.
