Christian Science was presented to me at a time when I was in a very unhappy mental state. I thought then I had cause for resentment and ill feeling, although I was not suffering from any particular physical ailment. I so expressed my views to a friend who was a Christian Scientist. She brought to my desk the words, "Green pastures are before me," taken from the Christian Science Hymnal. This encouraged me, and it was not long before I attended my first Christian Science church service. It all seemed so peaceful, and the atmosphere so loving, that I decided to continue going there. While I am of Jewish birth, I had never embraced that religion or any other.

I have been interested in Christian Science for many years. I know that Christian Science has protected and sustained me, and enabled me to perform my daily work in a better way. I have been healed of constipation, a badly inflamed toe, and have experienced other healings; my outlook on life has been changed, and I know Christian Science does bring us to "green pastures."

I am grateful to our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for giving us "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" and her other writings; for her love to all mankind; for the Christian Science publications; and for the loving work being accomplished through the channels of The Mother Church. I am grateful for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church.
