I have been healed in Christian Science of seasickness in...
I have been healed in Christian Science of seasickness in an aggravated form; and for this healing I have been many times very grateful. For a number of years, and while still without Christian Science, a like condition presented itself when riding on a train. This condition was not overcome until I learned something of Christian Science; and while the healing was not a rapid one, I am deeply grateful that it did come, perfectly and completely.
Some years ago, receiving a sudden and very sad message from my former home, I seemed at first almost overwhelmed; in fact, it was necessary to call for help in Science. Six hours after the message came, and after I had been on a train for a day and a night, the unreality of this condition came to me a little more clearly, and I began being grateful for Christian Science in earnest—grateful that through Christian Science I was learning to know that Life is God, immortal, infinite, eternal, and ever present, and that death is an illusion, unreal and untrue; grateful that through Christian Science I had been physically healed of discord while traveling, enabling me to take this trip and to give to other travelers, hungry for the Christ, Truth, crumbs from the table of my own experience.
When my thoughts were filled with the divine presence, divine Love lifted the heavy-laden thoughts and there came peace, comfort, and the healing of grief. I am deeply grateful for Christian Science and what it is doing for mankind.
