I am most grateful for the many healings and blessings I have received through the study and application of the rules of Christian Science. Through the loving services of two practitioners I have been healed of bronchitis, asthma, hemorrhage, heart attacks, also of various minor ailments; and I am able to do without glasses, which I had worn for about eighteen years. Previous to taking up the study of Christian Science I suffered from weak sight and pain in my eyes, gradually losing the sight of one eye. Through each step I have taken in Christian Science I am learning to say, "Father, I see." All these healings have been accomplished without any material aid whatsoever.
When I look back on the years of ill health and depression, it is marvelous that so much has been accomplished in health, happiness, and the peace that passes all understanding. I am grateful for the literature of Christian Science, the wonderful works of our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, which open up the Scriptures in a new-old light, revealing the healing power of the truth that Jesus said would make us free. I have the privilege of being a member of a branch Church of Christ, Scientist; and serving on the literature distribution committee, with its readings and conversations, is helping to promote the sisterhood as well as the brotherhood of the church.—(Mrs.) Margaret Meadows, Tynemouth, Northumberland, England.
